PendingDonkeyWoodDean vs. Slim Pickens
Swami sez: Slim Pickens
Brett just dropped 180.26, so naturally this is where I pick against him. Yahoo has DonkeyWoodDean favored by 11.78, and Gibbs gets a Carolina defense allowing the third-most fantasy points to running backs. That's a hell of a starting point. Slim counters with Trevor Lawrence, Jonathan Taylor, and Jeremiyah Love, while Pickens and Adams bring the receiving firepower. I like Love and Matthew Golden to help Slim steal this one, even if Brett's Goff-Gibbs-LaPorta stack makes Sunday night extremely uncomfortable. Brett gets the spotlight; Slim gets my pick.
PendingSilence of the Lamb vs. Mels-16
Swami sez: Mels-16
The Commish finally got a win, and his reward is Bijan, Henry, and Kyren. Very thoughtful of the schedule. Mels-16 also has Joe Burrow at quarterback now, while Silence of the Lamb is rolling with Sam Darnold. Lamb and London can keep me in it, but Mark's running back room is a weekly problem and Jadarian Price is carrying a questionable tag in my flex. Yahoo favors Mels by 17.41. I'm taking Mark and hoping those three backs at least have the decency to make it quick.
PendingBeast Infection vs. Gotham Knights
Swami sez: Beast Infection
Nick needs a response after Brett turned last week's matchup into a crime scene. Nico Collins is back in Beast Infection's starting lineup, though he's questionable, and his 17.98 projection matters a lot next to Walker and Egbuka. Gotham has Lamar marked questionable too, plus JSN and Terry McLaurin actually in the lineup this time. Yahoo separates these teams by just 2.32 points. I'm taking Nick's Walker-Collins combination to get him over the line, but both owners need to watch those injury tags.
PendingChris’s Team vs. Daniel’s Primo Team
Swami sez: Chris’s Team
Chris just beat Slim Pickens, and now Chase, Watson, and Rice get another chance to carry the offense. Swift and TreVeyon Henderson are the current running backs, so this pick is about the receivers doing the heavy lifting. Daniel can answer with McBride, Michael Wilson, and Jordan Addison, but Pollard's questionable tag adds another headache. Yahoo gives Chris a 12.49-point edge, and I'm with it. The defending champ gets my respect; Chris gets the pick.
PendingDillon’s Team vs. Mark’s Team
Swami sez: Dillon’s Team
Mark can roll out Mahomes, McCaffrey, Jefferson, DeVonta, and Bowers, which makes picking against him feel irresponsible. Fortunately, responsibility has never been the Swami's strongest position. Cook and Chase Brown give Dillon a real puncher's chance, and Higgins gets Jacksonville alongside Brown. Yahoo favors Mark by 16.32, but Jefferson and DeVonta are questionable; Dillon has his own tags on DJ Moore and flex option Kenyon Sadiq. Give me Dillon's backs and a big Higgins day to pull the upset.
PendingOverdue Bills vs. West Coast
Swami sez: Overdue Bills
Yahoo has Dusty ahead by 8.29, but I'm trusting the Josh Allen shrine one more time. Allen and Kincaid get New England, and Mick needs Hubbard and Croskey-Merritt to give that Buffalo pair some help. West Coast is starting Barkley and a questionable Bucky Irving alongside Amon-Ra, Parker Washington, and Josh Downs. That's enough talent to punish this pick, especially with Jalen Coker also questionable for Mick. I'm taking Overdue Bills on an Allen-Kincaid afternoon that does the heavy lifting.
Week 3: 4–2 (66.7%). The Swami nailed Tylor, Brett, Mels-16, and Mark's Team. Daniel and Chris spoiled the other two picks. Season record: 8–4 (66.7%), with Week 1 excluded.

IncorrectDaniel’s Primo Team vs. West Coast
Swami sez: West Coast
This isn't a matchup of the week based on firepower. It's quite the opposite. I legit opened this matchup for this write-up and said, ‘What the fuck am I looking at?’ The only good RB either team has is currently on one of the most inept offenses in the league. I legit think this one comes down to Trey McBride and the ghost of Puka Nacua vs. Amon-Ra St. Brown by himself. I actually think it might be fun if the two managers benched the rest of their teams. Who the fuck is Konata Mumpfield, and why the hell is he on a fantasy roster? Winner: West Coast, I guess?
Final result: Daniel’s Primo Team
Daniel’s Primo Team 104.36 • West Coast 89.88
The featured coin flip landed on the wrong coast. Daniel won by 14.48, with Michael Wilson's 25.90 leading the way and McBride adding 16.50. Puka stayed on the bench, and the final starting lineup did not include Mumpfield. Dusty's 89.88 left West Coast still looking for its first win.

CorrectSilence of the Lamb vs. Gotham Knights
Swami sez: Silence of the Lamb
Jason is one person who hasn't really been hurt by injuries too much. Luckily, his RB1 has been getting touches taken by an 83-year-old Alvin Kamara, and David Montgomery has shown why Detroit didn't mind getting rid of him. Drake London finally gets a QB this week with Penix, and the Dallas RB1/WR1 duo will carry Tylor to the promised land.
Final result: Silence of the Lamb
Silence of the Lamb 123.14 • Gotham Knights 112.10
The London call landed: 31.40 points, plus 41.50 combined from Lamb and Javonte Williams. Tylor finally got his first win, by 11.04. Jason had the escape route on his bench: McLaurin over Bateman would have flipped the result.

CorrectBeast Infection vs. DonkeyWoodDean
Swami sez: DonkeyWoodDean
Tyler Shough is a force right now, but if Adonai Mitchell can't start turning those targets into points, I don't know how Nick survives. Nico might be back this week, but I don't think that's enough to push him past Brett. Gibbs and Olave have been an insane combo so far. If Olave's big-ass helmet saves him from getting any more scrambled, Bretty is going to be tough to beat.
Final result: DonkeyWoodDean
Beast Infection 103.50 • DonkeyWoodDean 180.26
Brett was every bit as tough to beat as advertised. Gibbs (41.40), Wilson (29.70), Warren (23.60), and Olave (22.70) powered a 76.76-point win and the season's new high score. Shough's 24.80 was not nearly enough for Nick.

IncorrectChris’s Team vs. Slim Pickens
Swami sez: Slim Pickens
Jason's team is looking really nice right now. The RBs are in an okay spot, and surprisingly, Davante Adams has been able to dust off the old knees and bring himself into relevance again. I do think Chris has a shot here if Rashee can do something and Watson takes over more snaps with Jayden Reed out. Unfortunately, I really don't think it's going to be enough.
Final result: Chris’s Team
Chris’s Team 141.32 • Slim Pickens 119.44
The Swami gave Chris a chance, then picked against him. Fannin (24.10), Chase (24.80), Watson (22.60), and Rice (15.80) delivered a 21.88-point win. Adams scored 23.70 for Jason, but the rest of the comeback never arrived.

CorrectDillon’s Team vs. Mels-16
Swami sez: Mels-16
Dillon is currently relying on two players from CLE. Yes, that stands for Cleveland Browns, not some fun slogan like ‘Clutch. Legendary. Successful.’ Good luck with that one, big guy. I think Bijan bounces back with someone a bit more competent at the helm, and I think Baltimore learns from last game that giving Derrick Henry fewer snaps is a bad, bad thing. Mark Melquist is already 2–0, and I don't think that streak ends this week.
Final result: Mels-16
Dillon’s Team 130.10 • Mels-16 151.48
The Bijan bounce-back call was on target: 38.30 points. Henry added 21.90 and Purdy 31.28 as Mark stayed unbeaten with a 21.38-point win. Dillon's 130.10 was respectable, but respectable does not beat 151.48.

CorrectMark’s Team vs. Overdue Bills
Swami sez: Mark’s Team
I don't even want to write this one. I hate both owners almost equally, and I hope they both lose. Screw you guys. Burn in hell. All joking aside, I again think Josh Allen just isn't enough firepower—although he is a hell of a lot of firepower—and Mark's well-balanced team propels him to a win.
Final result: Mark’s Team
Mark’s Team 118.44 • Overdue Bills 68.26
Mark won by 50.18 behind Bowers (30.60) and McCaffrey (21.60). Allen scored 19.46, but Overdue Bills managed only 68.26 overall. The balance-over-one-star pick paid off.
View final matchup on Yahoo →
Week 2: 4–2 (66.7%). The Swami nailed both Marks, Chris, and Slim Pickens. Brett blew up the Gotham pick, and picking the Commish over Dillon did not age well. The winners count; the extra trash talk gets its own report card below.
Verified September 22, 2026; subject to Yahoo stat corrections.
CorrectMels-16 vs. Overdue Bills
Swami sez: Mels-16
The featured pick: Mark's stacked RB room carries the day, Mick's horseshoe finally falls out, and Mels-16 wins by 50.
Final result: Mels-16
Mels-16 145.58 • Overdue Bills 125.82
Right winner, aggressive math. Mark won by 19.76, leaving the 50-point call 30.24 points short. Brock Purdy (28.48) and Jaylen Waddle (24.80) made the QB/WR2 doubts look pretty silly. Josh Allen still dropped 40.82, and Dalton Kincaid's 22.50 deserves an apology.

CorrectBeast Infection vs. Chris’s Team
Swami sez: Chris’s Team
Two one-time champions face off. Chris pulls this one out behind a bounce-back game from Ja’Marr Chase. I think KC leans less on the run against Indy this week, giving Rashee Rice his chance to shine.
Final result: Chris’s Team
Beast Infection 72.10 • Chris’s Team 112.02
The Chase bounce-back call landed: 26.50 points after 3.20 in Week 1. Rice added 12.30, and Chris won by 39.92. Chalk one up for the Swami.

CorrectDaniel’s Primo Team vs. Mark’s Team
Swami sez: Mark’s Team
Another battle of champions. This time, the defending champ takes the L thanks to a lack of firepower at running back. Mark's team is a little too well balanced here. I'm taking Mark.
Final result: Mark’s Team
Daniel’s Primo Team 95.72 • Mark’s Team 122.26
The defending champ took the L, just as called. Mark won by 26.54 behind DeVonta Smith (30.70), Christian McCaffrey (22.60), and Jake Ferguson (20.30). Daniel's starting RBs combined for 17.10.

IncorrectDonkeyWoodDean vs. Gotham Knights
Swami sez: Gotham Knights
With a question mark around Zay Flowers' availability and a pretty weak RB2 spot, I don't think Brett can sustain the firepower he showed in Week 1. Jason takes this one—even with Fairbairn finishing as his third-highest scorer this week.
Final result: DonkeyWoodDean
DonkeyWoodDean 152.98 • Gotham Knights 112.20
Brett heard the doubt and responded with 152.98 points and a 40.78-point win. Goff (32.78), Gibbs (23.30), and Olave (22.60) kept the firepower coming. Even JSN's 45.50 couldn't save Gotham. Fairbairn finished fourth on Jason's team, not third.

IncorrectGrim Reaper vs. Dillon’s Team
Swami sez: Grim Reaper
Dillon is leaning a little too hard on an offense going up against Houston this week. Grim Reaper takes the W in what I'm calling the lowest-scoring matchup of the week.
Final result: Dillon’s Team
Grim Reaper 107.58 • Dillon’s Team 112.24
The Commish picked himself and paid for it. Dillon won by 4.66 despite DJ Moore scoring minus 0.10. This wasn't the lowest-scoring matchup either: Nick and Chris combined for 184.12, below this game's 219.82. Grim Reaper is now named Silence of the Lamb on Yahoo.

CorrectSlim Pickens vs. West Coast
Swami sez: Slim Pickens
This might be the closest matchup on paper. I'm taking the Dallas stack, but it'll take a big effort from Jonathan Taylor on Sunday night to push Slim Pickens past Dusty.
Final result: Slim Pickens
Slim Pickens 156.36 • West Coast 97.28
Right winner, wrong suspense level. Slim Pickens won by 59.08 and led the league with 156.36. Taylor delivered 29.20 and Dak added 29.76, but Davante Adams stole the show with 42.50. Dusty never got the close finish the Swami expected.
